Oviedo's roots date back to just after the Civil War when homesteaders came to the area to settle along Lake Jessup and start new lives.
Oviedo features fantastic community facilities including a gymnasiam, pools and a one-of-a-kind Splash Zone for kids, as well as natural wonders such as air boat rides on Lake Jessup and hiking trails along the Econlockhatchee River.
